giving up my profession

been working for about 10 years now since i graduated nursing and have been lately disturbed about a lot of things that comes in my mind because i guess i am not happy anymore with my field of work. i am thinking of another way to earn money and i hoop down in putting up a business since i got some earnings quite much to build one. just a questions guys, is it right to give up my profession and just have business? i know this sounds so silly but i think i am not happy any more with my present job for 10 years. please help...

hello fellah! just a piece of advice, i guess it is too early for you to decide right away to whether choose doing business rather than pursuing your profession. if you really want a clearer view on deciding, do not give up your career yet. keep your career and at the same time just do a bit of experimentation on business, at least if you happen to flunk doing business, you will still have a fall back which is your profession.

i was thinking about the same thing. not just a good idea to give up on your profession just like that. partly, i can feel your sufferings because i've been through that before. i've graduated as an engineer but ended up working in a call center.LOL!

why would you given up your profession if you can work on both sides? we all know that business is the only thing that can give you assurance but somehow profession is also very important thing to consider.
